The Mountain with a big M !!!
Very good geographical location with a ski area of ​​265 km of slopes. The chalet is located 700 m from the ski lifts, 150m from a ski bus stop with the passage of a free shuttle every 20 minutes in winter season.

semaine superbe en famille!

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine dans notre appartement. Merci à Nelly et à son mari pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur gentillesse. Le logement était très propre et très bien décoré, les literies sont très confortables et j'ai apprécié les petites attentions à notre arrivée. Les enfants ont adoré le petit torrent proche du logement! Nous conseillons ce logement sans hésiter.

Good place for a skiing holiday

Very nice accommodation, well recommended for a skiing trip. Furniture and appliances are of high quality and there is ample of room in the apartment. Location is near the village, in a quiet neighborhood. Ski-bus stop is located nearby, but do note that the buses will only take you to either the Vercland or the Grand Massif Express ski-lifts (surprisingly not to Morillon). Upon return, you'll either need to take a bus from the Morillon ski-lift or walk back 700 meters to the apartment. There is a small Vival supermarket in walking distance (900 meters), but do note that it only opens at 08:00. The bakery in the village (1.2 km) opens at 07:00 daily. There is a big Carrefour Market in Samoëns. There are some things to consider: 1) The accommodation is advertised as a 2 bedroom apartment. It is not. There is only one bedroom with a double bed and a bunk bed and there is a couch for two in the living room. This was an unpleasant surprise for us. 2) The owner demands a € 200 security deposit to be paid in cash on the spot. We were confronted with this upon arrival without prior notice. This can (and should) be handled through HomeAway/Abritel instead. 3) The location is not as is shown on the map in the advertisement. It would be helpful if the correct address would be listed. We only found about the signs showing the direction after a couple of days.

Avons passé un agréable séjour sur la période du 28/12/18 au 05/02/19. Appartement neuf, agréable, chaud avec un joli paysage et une rivière située juste derrière. Bien situé à 10mn à pied du centre village. Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires qui restent disponibles.

A very nice well appointed apartment, very welcoming host

The sofa bed is very easy to use and very comfortable, so the apartment is very suitable for six. There are two nicely appointed bathrooms, very useful particularly for a ground of 6. If you like to do lots of cooking there is limited kitchen area for preparation and no oven, but there is a multi function microwave and raclette. I booked this quite late and didn't realise that towels and bed linen were not supplied within the cost. Overall it's a good place to stay, very comfortable and a nice aspect, being slightly away from the main road through the village and very near the ski bus. Nelly is very welcoming and was very kind when I broke my leg on the 2nd day skiing and had to spend the rest of the week in hospital at Sallanches!

Excellentes prestations même pour cinq personnes !

C'est la deuxième fois que nous louons chez Mr et Mme Prévost et nous y allons les yeux fermés. Cette fois-ci, nous y sommes allés avec une autre famille, nous avons donc loué deux appartements différents. Le chalet est neuf et plus que confortable car ils ont pensé à tout, dehors comme dedans. En dehors de la décoration de très bon goût, la literie qui est top, (même dans le canapé convertible), l'électroménager très complet, les appartements sont spacieux (par rapport à ce que l'on peut trouver dans les différentes stations) et très bien aménagés. Les propriétaires sont adorables et très à l'écoute de la moindre demande (si tant est que nous puissions en avoir..). La navette passe à 50 m (super pratique pour les enfants en bas âge..), et le télécabine est proche, donc inutile de prendre la voiture.. On peut faire ses courses à la supérette du coin, comme au supermarché Carrefour Market de Samoens. Bref, idéal pour passer de bonnes vacances à la montagne.

Très agréable séjour

Très bonne location conforme au descriptif. Très bien équipée. Les propriétaires sont des gens charmants et très disponibles. Les navettes passent à 100m du chalet. L'isolation phonique des appartements est très bonne. Au niveau station, 2 points négatifs: - Les horaires des cours ESF pour les enfants débutent à 10h et se terminent à midi d’où peu de temps pour skier pour les parents et obligation de monter aux Esserts pour ces cours. - Plusieurs remontées mécaniques ont besoin d'être modernisées. Je recommande cette location sans hésitation et cette station hors période scolaire.
