"We couldn’t believe our good fortune to find this unbelievably gorgeous little village. Our chance to stay in an authentic medieval farmhouse in the valley of the Pyrenees, with all the modern conveniences we could desire. The owners’ ancestors built it slowly between 1400-1600. It took 20 years for them to painstakingly renovate it: each suite completely unique, most with astonishing country kitchens, views of the countryside and mountains. "The property is definitely unique in the sense that there were unpleasant surprises at every turn. The property is located on the side of a remote hill approximately 1 km up a treacherous one lane path. The signage to the property was nonexistent. Offsite parking was approximately 500 m away Thankfully, we had the foresight to purchase water, bread, cheese, and a bottle of wine in the closest town about 30 minutes away. If we had chosen not to we would have been forced to eat at the property....

"We spent a fantastic 6 nights staying on the We Camp Pyrenees site in mid july. For a family of 4 we had a 2 bed cabin with it's own toilet and shower, small kitchen and aircon. Spacious enough for us and had a lovely terrace to sit on. Kitchen area had enough to do simple meals, small microwave, 2 ring hob. We had a pod coffee machine but, I don't think all properties had this. No kettle. Towels were provided. The site was lovely, small shop with fresh bread and pastries (best to reserve what you want the day before). Also sold drinks, crisps, household items and bits and bobs. Supermarket approx 1.5 mile away. Pizza restaurant on site which we didn't have time to try, but looked very good. It was closed a couple of nights due to short staff. Also, brilliant small restaurant short walk away which served Tapas, burgers, traditional spanish food and milkshakes which were all delicious. The campsite was lovely, peaceful and the pool area ideal for kids with 3 slides that entertained us. No inflatables allowed and people do adhere to this. Lifeguard on duty at all times. Also a paddle court on site (can hire rackets and buy balls), football area, table tennis. All the staff were super helpful. Other facilities on site all clean and well maintained such as shower block etc. Also had a washing machine (5 euro large load) and dryer (4 euro) which was handy. "
