"There’s no restaurant at the hotel but there are plenty within fifteen minute drive including a Michelin/starred Japanese restaurant you’ll need to book well in advance Otherwise Norah’s gardens are idyllic with egg-laying chickens wandering around occasionally chased by a dog or a granddaughter and fruit from the orchard that grandmother uses to make jam that is served at breakfast…like a location for a French movie"

"The host was very helpful when he was there, also allowing us to park our motorbike under cover However... We were not given the accommodation we had booked. Even though we were told it was an upgrade, it was not what we wanted so we were a little disappointed. The room was quite small, with tea and coffee making equipment but no milk or spoons. There was also no soap etc available for the shower, though there was some very watery soap for washing hands in the bathroom sink. Shortly after we arrived we left again as it was a short drive to get something to eat from a local supermarket. When we got back we messaged the host to ask if there was some cutlery to use but we were informed they had left for the night and could not help. The house is fairly remote and is in a lovely quiet spot but I just wish we had been given the room we booked and the host was available to deal with our small issues. "

"Newly refurbished, however arrived after reception was closed approx. 6pm & young lady from adjoining restaurant opened for us, but didn't speak English. They only had 1 room booked yet I had booked 2, but luckily they had another room. Rooms were newly refurbished & spacious, slept really well. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant & breakfast the next morning was basic, but very nice. "

"Icky to park on street outside although we had to feed the meter. Breakfast was excellent. Beware of St Avold's one way system!"
