"The gite is authentic French style whilst also comfortable and with plenty of space for a family of 7. The setting is lovely, in nice peaceful countryside but still only 5 minutes from the nearest supermarket and 15 minutes from lots of different activities including kayaking, zip wires and lakes. Outside the gite, there are different animals and the kids enjoying feeding the pony and horse each day. Joel is a very friendly and helpful host and we overcame the language barrier between us! Joel’s English being far better than our French. We are already thinking about booking to go back next year. "

"Nice small studio but with some issues. Quite a few flies inside when I arrived. This is probably because it's on a farm with sheep. Found several long hairs in bathroom and on dining table which is gross. Bedsheet was rough stretchy material. No soap on arrival and I had to request it from the host. This sort of basic thing being overlooked is really not acceptable. The exterior photos do not reflect that a second guest property, called the Naisonette has been constructed next to this property. I always choose not to select properties where there is more than one let, and it was fortunate that the other place was not occupied. Good points, fast Internet, easy access to main road, beautiful rural location. Reasonable cooking facilities and a large fridge. Nice shower too. Overall, good, but the points above let things down. "
