"Beautifully renovated apartment. Everything was clean & fresh and the position in the centre of Thonon couldn’t have been more perfect. Spent many a happy hour sitting on balcony enjoying the music or watching what was happening in the square. Dominique was lovely and so helpful, plus spoke English. From the very start of our stay our hosts were very attentive, from offering to go the pharmacy (I was poorly first couple of days) to giving us great advice on where to go and what beaches to visit. "Location très bien placée proche de la gare et des départs de bus pour visiter la région. Pour faire les courses grande surface et boulangerie à côté. Seul point négatif le volume du frigo, il est beaucoup trop petit pour deux donc pour un couple avec deux enfants c' est quasiment impossible de prévoir pour deux jours de courses."

"As reported by a another traveller there is a very strong smell of heating oil in the apartment. When entering the apartment, the smell is strongest, but after a few minutes we would just get used to it. Initially we thought these were smells from cleaning / detergents, but we realised after a while that this was heating oil smells. We came back yesterday and all our equipment needs to be washed. The apartment is quite well equipped with kitchen utensils and appliances such as coffee machine...

"-UNRESPONSIVE HOST -Incomplete address requiring local shop keepers help to locate the unit, and to get luggage and groceries to the apartment -Unit is on 4TH FLOOR, which takes EIGHT flights of stairs to get to and there is NO ELEVATOR. -The bedroom is up an old, narrow, slippery, wooden staircase with NO LIGHTS and NO HANDRAILS. There was no way I was going to let my 81 year old mother use those stairs in the day or night! They were incredibly dangerous! -Two of the lamps in the bedroom did...

"The property was so beautiful, we felt we were living a dream. Our portion of the house (the lower level) showed considerable attention to detail and was extremely well-supplied. We spent hours on the patio overlooking the steep hillside, the lake, and the mountains. Absolutely wonderful!"

"Loved the view from this property overlooking the lake. Would have like air conditioning. A warning to anyone washing their clothes in the on-site laundry. It automatically dispenses soap and even after washing out clothes a few times after it stank of the soap smell very strongly. It gave my wife a headache and eyes watered. We could not believe we could not get that strong soap smell out. My wife almost threw away her clothes that she has washed there. Again don’t use their onsite...
