The Space:
Blue Ridge and the surrounding area is an extraordinary compilation of natural beauty, mesmerizing scenery, waterfall symphonies, mild climate and fresh mountain air. The mountains are known for their blue color due to a chemical released by the trees that scatters blue light from the sun. The Cherokee called the mountains Shaconage, which means "Land of the Blue Mist"

Since its humble beginnings in 1886, a variety of new adventures are offered now including: shops, restaurants, breweries, wineries, whitewater rafting, tubing, multiple hiking trails, horseback riding, zip lining, boating, fishing and a plethora of other adventures for every age and enthusiast level.

Nature’s Whisper, just 20 minutes from downtown, provides a wonderful location to enjoy it all!

As you arrive, you will go through a private gated entrance with a rough sawn asphalt finish drive to start your adventure!

*Please note: Minivans, Vans or heavy front wheel drive vehicles may have some difficulty with the steeper driveway.

You will enter the cabin through the side door directly into the open living/kitchen area with a vaulted ceiling and large windows for natural light.

The living area will be to your right with inviting furniture, wood burning fireplace and large smart TV.

The spacious open dining area is directly to your left with seating for six which leads to the large fully appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances including dishwasher, microwave, electric range/oven and refrigerator. It has ample cabinet space and counter space to prepare the perfect family meal.

The queen main level bedroom is directly down the hall with a smart TV and access to the screen porch. The bathroom with a tub/shower combo and single vanity is directly across the hall. The full size washer/dryer is also located in the bathroom.

The main level deck/screen porch is directly off the living area. It features several seating options, dining table and gas grill. The long-range views are amazing from this location and sure to be one of your favorite spots during your stay.

The third level has a loft seating area to escape and enjoy your favorite book or take a peaceful nap. It also features a desk for your convenience.

The very spacious king master suite is directly off the loft and has a smart TV, personal coffee station and private balcony with spectacular long-range views. The perfect spot to start an amazing day!

The lower level offers a different vibe vs the traditional mountain cabin decor. Recently remodeled, it presents a bright open area with a pool table, high-end queen murphy bed, wet bar, full bath with walk-in shower and second living area with a large screen smart TV and two recliners and reclining loveseat. There are other seating options including two rockers and a high top table. Relax and watch your favorite movie or have some friendly fun challenging each other to a variety of billiards games. It is sure to be a favorite for your visit.

The new hot tub (arriving December 12) is accessible from the lower level and provides mountain views. A picnic table is available to enjoy games, snacks or just relax and discuss the day's activities.

Just off the main level from the stairs leading from the entrance is the private fire pit area. It is a large space with multiple seating to roast marshmallows, tell stories and relax with friends and family. A private gazebo is provided with a gas reflection heater.

The parking area has enough room for three vehicles but two is optimal for turning radius and parking.

Guest Access:
Access is via keyless entry. A check-in code will be provided 1 day prior to arrival. Checkout code will be provided the day before with instructions.

The home is gated and the code will be provided the 1 day prior to arrival.

The entire cabin is available to the guest with the exception of the owner's closet.

The Neighborhood:
Nature’s Whisper is 21 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge and paved road access for most of the way with a short distance of well maintained gravel road. It is located 3.4 miles off highway 76 and is a very private setting with long-range mountain views. The neighborhood consists of other cabins. Nature’s Whisper has one cabin below it but is barely visible during the Spring, Summer and partial Fall seasons. This particular cabin has its own private gate and the code will be provided a day before arrival.

Other properties are in the neighborhood. We ask that you please respect the owner's privacy and comply with private property signs.

Trash and Litter:
Trash pickup service is provided on Wednesday. If the trash cans are full upon arrival, please contact the property management office. All trash must be bagged and placed into the trash cans provided and lids securely attached. Our nature friends love to make a mess when this is not done and the trash companies will not pick up loose trash. Also if you exceed the capacity of the trash cans before pickup it is your responsibility to remove and take to the disposal locations at:

Quiet time:
Please keep your noise to a minimum between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. both inside and outside. This includes hot tubs, fire pits, and porches. Sound travels easily in the mountains and can disturb unseen neighbors.
