Perfect Cotswolds Escape!

This was our first time to the Cotswolds and we weren’t sure what area would be best, but this cottage was perfect! More beautiful than the pictures in a very quiet and beautiful tiny village. Was very relaxing for a week away in the countryside. Great location to pop around to other towns, and only 5 min from Tesco.

An absolutely wonderful stay!

We stayed for a month in Manor Farm cottage and could not have been happier. The location was perfect for us, a tiny hamlet, that was so peaceful but only a few minutes drive to the nearest town. The cottage was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Unfortunately it was too cold for us to enjoy the outdoor space but it was lovely and would be wonderful to enjoy in good weather. Staycotswolds were responsive hosts and I have only good things to say about them. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would definitely love to return.

A wonderful stay in a stylishly designed cottage

The cottage was perfect for our weekend get-together. The interiors are done beautifully with lovely stylish details and had everything we needed for our stay. As it was the beginning of March, we didn't make use of any of the outdoor space but we could see that it was spacious and well looked after. We really enjoyed our stay and are already looking into re-booking for our get together next year.

Lovely cottage!

We stayed in Manor Farm Cottage for just under two weeks and had such a wonderful stay. The property is absolutely beautiful, well located to explore the Cotswolds and have amazing views from the doorstep. The recommendations in the welcome book were also great, especially D'ambrosi in Stow-on-the-Wold.

A pleasant stay

Had a pleasant stay at the Manor farm cottage. Everything was superb , clean and neat. The cons, there was no microwave, no dryer machine ( couldn't let my clothes dry outside while the weather was rainy all during my stay). Overall, I've enjoyed my stay at the cottage.

Manor Farm Cottage, Donnington

This was our first cottage holiday with StayCotswolds and it certainly didn't disappoint. The Cottage was cosy and comfortable especially the beds. Well equipped with lovely furniture. The views from the bottom of the lane were breathtaking. I would certainly return to Manor Farm Cottage. We did have to contact the maintenance man because the kettle stopped working but he was there within a short while with another kettle. Also the pub in Longborough was a triumph, the food and hospitality was amazing.

Manor Farm Cottage

The cottage was easy to find and all communication from initial enquiry was excellent. To nitpick- a bucket was left in the kitchen, no hand towel in the downstairs bathroom and no black binbags. There were no dishwasher tabs or cloths either but 3 were provided on request. Please provide newspaper with the kindling. The house was lovely, warm and well appointed. The bedrooms and bathrooms comfortable and spotless. We would love to return!

What A Lovely Village & Cottage

My In-laws, my husband and I all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Donnington! Every one of us remarked on how beautifully the home is decorated. The beds and furniture are comfortable. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. The washer and dryer were appreciated. And, although they let us know that there was no iron or ironing board (we brought ours), there actually was, in the laundry room, so, thank you. The outdoor furniture was perfect for our one day warm enough to sit outside and the garden flowers were beautiful. Our walks into Stow were enjoyable after a local man explained where to walk through the fields. We only wish we had also walked into Moreton-in-Marsh. Maybe next time. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home with us! :)

Cotswold Relaxation

Second visit to this beautiful cottage. We returned for several reasons. The cottage has 3 double bedrooms, 2 ensuite which suits our group. No arguments over which room as they’re all similar in size. The open plan kitchen and living area is spacious yet cost. The house is warm so (sadly!) no need for the open fire. The kitchen is generally well kitted out although a few sherry/port glasses would be handy. Parking is difficult. Just about enough room for 1 small-medium car. The neighbours are a little awkward about parking. There isn’t anywhere off-road for second cars. The hamlet feels remote and is very quiet - which we love. Good walks from the front door. Hope to return next year.

Quiet luxury in perfect location

There's no doubt the level of luxury and detail in furnishings, decor and accessories is top notch here, but the price tag kind of demands that! The peace and quiet and perfect location to explore the Cotswolds were also highlights. The downsides are easily fixable, so hope the owners do: There was no microwave!! An essential for families. There were too many cobwebs to pass off as missed. The heating (supposedly set at a constant 22 degrees) dropped below 18 and the whole house was very cold. You're not allowed to alter the thermostat so I emailed and phoned the contact (in the house book) and eventually this was increased for our last two days stay. 18 degrees is too cold to be comfortable, and I've never stayed somewhere where the customer isn't allowed to choose the temperature. Quick fixes if the owner wants to make them. Otherwise, it was a beautiful place to stay and great that each bedroom has its own bathroom.

Lovely house but with issues

We stayed at Manor Farm Cottage for 4 nights Initially upon arrival we were very happy with the house, the decor is lovely and the house is well appointed. As previously mentioned by other guests, parking is not ideal but we managed to park one large car tightly up against the house. Unfortunately we soon discovered quite a few issues and despite contacting the owners/house manager the next morning, we received no response The sofa was not fit for purpose. The front leg of the sofa was broken so the sofa was being propped up by a piece of firewood and the base support had gone in the middle making the sofa quite uncomfortable to sit on Extractor in the en-suite did not work The towel rails in the main 2 bathrooms did not work The taps on the bath did not work, only the hand held shower. The heating thermostats were locked meaning some areas of the house were either comfortable / too hot or chilly If the above issues can be rectified then the house makes for a wonderful stay…

Utterly gorgeous cottage

Manor farm cottage was utterly gorgeous, the cottage itself is a beautifully done conversion, and the furnishings are luxurious and modern, yet cosy. It had everything we might require, including cake and wine on arrival!! It’s perfectly situated for easy access to lots of cotswold hot spots, while being in the most beautiful sleepy village, with easy access to rural walks. This is one of the best holiday cottages I’ve ever stayed at. Staycotswolds was also great at promptly working with us when we needed to make some date adjustments.

Lovely break in a beautiful cottage

We had a lovely few days in this beautiful cottage, the beds were amazing, so comfortable. The cottage had everything we needed even a bottle of wine on arrival! It’s in a great location with lots to do nearby, great pubs and a visit to Daylesford farm shop and cafe is a must. We are already planning our next visit.

Outstanding stay at the Manor Farm Cottage

We had one week at this beautiful cottage and enjoyed every moment. The house is appointed with the most luxurious furnishings, to the linens & towels, beds & pillows, wonderful kitchen… we couldn’t have asked for more. Immaculately clean and everything felt brand new. The location is absolute perfection, a real center point for all of the beautiful little countryside villages. Do yourself a favour and book in ASAP!

Classic Cottage meets Modern Cotswolds - Style and Comfort nested in a Gorgeous Garden

Manor Farm Cottage has it all. Excellently located in friendly, rural Donnington but close to everything you need and major attractions. The interior is just stunning. Photo-shoot ready for modern Cotswolds style. But featuring beautiful old beams, thick walls and a cosy fireplace in the main room. The beds were so comfortable and with modern bathrooms right next to them. Linens and towels were good quality. The kitchen was a 3-D version of the kitchens you see in magazines with everything you need, easy to operate range style cooker, island, and top quality china and equipment. The kitchen and main room open out onto the garden which is a joy. The round table is perfect for al fresco breakfast and lunch and there is an outdoor 'living room' area with sofas for the 'aperitivo hour' before heading down the garden path for another table and setting supper. An all day garden with a good lawned area as well. A practical utilty room and indoor dining room are an added bonus to this charming cottage. It was so easy and relaxing and I would not hesitate to rebook 'Manor Farm Cottage' again.
