Not that much activities in the village itself, but if you travel by car you can visit La Rochelle, Ile de Rez etc. In the village there is a supermarket, butcher, bakery … The house was clean and we received a good, detailed introduction upon our arrive from a friendly owner."

"Fabulous property in a gorgeous village, then minutes inland from the sea. The house is well equipped and beautifully decorated with three large bedrooms. My daughter loved the table football. Opposite a great butchers and almost next door to a lovely boulangerie and the local bar. Gorgeous French restaurant just past the stone church. And la terriere beach is a strip of golden sand fronting the Atlantic. Lovely relaxing holiday."

"we had an excellent week with Olivier and Nathalie who were friendly and understanding. the gite was the only one on the site and was connected to the hosts main house. we shared a pool with the hosts and were able to have swim every day. the gite was advertised for up to 5 persons but there was only two of us so loads of space. nice big rooms (for 2) and a decent fridge and freezer. great location for exploring Niort and La Rochelle plus the local area"

The villa was spacious, clean, well stocked with all the necessary utensils crockery and appliances you need. The layout of the rooms was great for us giving everyone thier own space and our kids really enjoyed the pool. "The house was clean and comfortable but had some drawbacks in layout and would not pass safety checks for rental properties in the UK. The main problem is the kitchen which was dangerous. It has a hob, a sink and a draining board without any work surface. We had to use the kettle and toaster on the draining board, which would be an electrical hazard if wet.
