"The property was as beautiful as it was in the pictures with lovely grounds and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Unfortunately though, the outside of the property was swarming with wasps so unable to keep doors and windows open and nor could you fully relax in the hot tub. My partner got stung on the first night. Also there was a trap in the corner of the bedroom which made us feel uneasy sleeping at night. And the window above the bed did not have a blackout blind so was woken early...

"We were attending a gig a Ludlow Castle, most accommodation was booked or expensive at Ludlow for the night of the gig so we chose to stop at Stokestay Hotel because there was a train station close that we could catch there and back. The Stokesay staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was excellent and bar prices good so we would not hesitate to stop there again."

"Lovely b&b would definitely stay again! Food absolutely delicious in the pub and for breakfast (using locally tour ed ingredients) and great choice of both food and drinks. Super friendly staff, make you feel very welcome and they’re really helpful! Rooms comfortable and the air con in bedroom was a huge plus! "A historic building just off the square, this beautiful B & B never fails. The owner, Ruth, goes out of her way to make sure that you have a comfortable stay, bathed in luxury and quality. places like this are few and far between these days. Superb!"
