"The view of the harbor is amazing! The Kalmar Packhuset is a delight in every way enjoyed by Swedish and foreign visitors alike. The breakfast, fika, and evening meals were excellent. The hotel is conveniently located near rail station, central Kalmar, and shopping."

"This was a historical building in the middle of charming Kalmar. Our family really enjoyed our rooms and the convenience the location offered as far as being able to walk and enjoy downtown. The breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options. The staff was very kind and helpful as well."

"Do not let the exterior fool you. The hotel is spotless, the rooms are relatively spacious compared to other European hotel rooms, you have a private bath, there's no a/c but the windows open and there's a fan. The breakfast buffet was minimalist, but there is a communal kitchen to which you have access 24/7. The beds are comfortable. The hotel is located a block from a grocery store and less than a mile from Gamla Stan. The hostess is incredibly friendly. I cannot say enough good things about our stay there."
