"Yves has a beautiful home, full of quirky furniture which retains the French feel along with a high spec of kitchen and bathroom. The garden is a great size and fully enclosed for our dog and has the sun all day. The kitchen has every utensil and more. Plenty of plates and cutlery so we could use the dishwasher, even supplied tabs. Toilet paper too, not the usual 1 roll before you can get to the shops! Coffee, tea, condiments a plenty. House was ideal for myself, husband and 2large teen boys. "We spent a leisurely 12 days in this comfortable home. Patricia and her family made us feel immediately welcome. The bedrooms have views of the chateau. Inside, the house is very quiet; stepping out front we were always greeted by melodic bird songs. It is a two minute walk to the Brest-Nantes canal with lovely walking paths on both sides, and a 5-10 minute walk to the center restaurants and boulangeries. We could not have been happier with our stay."

If you are a surfer, the beach in front of the house is a hive of activity as waves are high. For swimming and more family-friendly beaches, there is a huge variety of beaches in easy reach south of the property. Great cycling routes from the property also. If you are a fort fan, there are many to choose from, 2 within walking distance."
