"This is a beautiful little cabin in a nice setting. When we first arrived the hummers buzzed me each time I went to the car to for the load in. The screen porch was a great place for sitting and thinking or enjoying a beverage. Our two Russell terriers loved it as well.The kitchen is well appointed with nice appliances and everything needed for a comfortable stay. I would have liked to try out the fireplace, but it was a little too warm. Speaking of which the AC worked great to keep the cabin comfortable.The one thing the cabin lacked is a fence around the yard for our dogs. We don't let them out unleashed so they weren't able to run. We knew that beforehand so were prepared to deal with it. Paul was easy to get hold of and we exchanged texts a few times. The one drawback is our GPS unit at times was completely confused on the secondary and tertiary roads, not uncommon in the NC mountains."

"Good breakfast, clean eating area and foyer. The room was just okay. The sofa smelled like feet, We had to move from our original room due to the wall mirror falling and breaking. Our original room was identical, but was less worn. The staff was excellent. Friendly and very accommodating. I would stay there again."
