"The property was clean and welcoming =) Loved the games and DVDs for our 5 year old to play/watch before bed. Having easy access to lake was amazing - fishing, roasting s'mores - just a relaxing time with family. Took a walk around the lake and just up the road was a nice playground our daughter had a blast on. Also just up the road - the "Cortland Repertory Theatre" looked really interesting. "The place was nicely remolded and looked like the photos. However, there was a terrible bug problem. You could not open the doors once it got dark out because hundreds of bugs would get in!! The counter tops would be filled with dead bugs the next morning. We would have to clean and vacuum a bunch of times. They seem to be trying to fix it by putting bug lights in the house. "We were the first guests of the season and our hosts were wonderful! The space is smallish and clean with a comfy bed and excellent a/c. It was just enough space for my husband and I. The apartment is right on the lake and has a fantastic view. Nothing is super close out there (as is the case with most of the Finger Lakes region), but there are some great restaurants in the nearby towns, beautiful state parks and tons of water activities.
