Top Morans Crossing Hotel Reviews
Hillcrest Merimbula
8/10 Good
"Great location, fabulous design. Quiet and comfortable and the balcony is great. Bathroom probably could do with the same redesign as the other rooms but it’s perfectly fine. Really cool place. Loved it."
Bega Downs Motor Inn
8/10 Good
"As a single business traveller, this place was a comfortable spot to rest for the week I was in town. Close enough (5min walk) to the main street pubs and shops (the uphill on the way back takes a bit longer). But overall convenient , comfortable and quiet."
Tathra Beach House Apartments
10/10 Excellent
"Clean and comfortable. Kitchen utensils were clean and well equipped. Highly recommended."
1 The Point - Pet friendly with a spa
8/10 Good
"Lovely modern property, great location, however it could do with a deep clean."
Tathra Beach Shack/Character & Magic Views
10/10 Excellent
"Loved the rustic shack and it was comfortable at the start of winter. Best views you could imagine and walking distance to everything you'd ever need."
Bega Village Motor Inn
8/10 Good
"Stayed for a work trip. Room was clean and comfortable, however it was quite noisy. Noise from other rooms opening and closing doors was quite obvious and the guest in the room next door was up at 5am, so I ended up being awake then, too. Great location, across the road from the shopping centre, walking distance to main street of shops and restaurants. Didn't get time to use the pool but looked nice."
Top of the Lake Units
10/10 Excellent
"Great sized room dog friendly. Has an big fenced run for the dogs out the back. Has Netflix and all the rest. 10/10"
Bega Southtown Motor Inn
8/10 Good
"Lovely ladies run this place, very helpful and generous with the little packs of bikkies! Salt water pool, though small, was enough to cool off in on a hot day. However the mattress was way too firm for me so I didn't sleep, but my husband had no such complaints. The sofa was too low and uncomfortable to sit on too. There were no light blocking curtains or blinds so too much light coming into the room at night. Not much sound dampening either so noisy neighbours can be heard. However, we've stayed a couple of times now while visiting relatives and would do so again. I just take an eye mask, earplugs and mattress topper. Why? Because you get what you pay for and for budget motels, it's pretty good. It's only a short drive into town for good food, it's close to the hospital and to my relatives. The cheapest petrol in town is a block away, and it's close to the highway without going through town, so if you're exploring the coast you've got a good start. A couple of rooms I think have flat doorways from the parking space, for mobility access. No views to speak of. No breakfast but kitchenette if needed. Go to cafe evolve or the red cafe for breakfast and the pearl Chinese restaurant for dinner - they also do excellent fish and chips and other Aussie meals. So this place has all you need. Definitely give it a try."
Inspiring view!

"Peaceful, private, beautiful. Very spacious with large rooms. Loved the games room / library. Would definitely stay again, thankyou"
