"I recently stayed at the Hotel Riu Plaza España and had a fantastic experience overall. The location is unbeatable – right in the heart of Madrid, with easy access to public transportation, shops, and major attractions like the Royal Palace and Gran Vía. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very clean in general. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the city. However, the bathroom shower could have been a bit cleaner, which was a slight downside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any questions or needs. A special thanks to the team at the front entrance – they were exceptionally welcoming and made a great first impression every day. One of the highlights was definitely the rooftop terrace, absolutely stunning! The views over Madrid are breathtaking, especially at sunset. It’s a fantastic place to enjoy a drink and unwind. That said, the food at the rooftop bar could be improved – it didn’t quite match the quality of the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options, both hot and cold."

"The best hotel I have been in Madrid! I travelled this time with my 6 months baby. The room was amazing and spacious including a cot with beautiful children bedding. My baby slept wonderful. Thanks to all the staff and particularly to Federico for his kindness and help at all times. 100% recommended."

"Brilliant location for Palace, parks and Plaza España. We arrived into Chamartin train station and it was easy to get to the hotel on Metro Line 10 and a short walk. The hotel is unassuming on the outside, but once inside we loved the sympathetic renovations, it felt cosy and comfortable especially the bar area which is beautiful. Our cool and quiet room was perfect, very comfortable bed, twin basins and a bath in the large bathroom, loads of storage and a lovely dressing table with a lift-up lid. Electronic safe was easy to use and the little fridge perfect for keeping drinks cool. Housekeeping was excellent. The continental breakfast was delicious, particularly the brownies! The dining room was calm and relaxing. Overall our stay was perfect and we wouldn’t hesitate to return to this hotel. "

"My room was great. The breakfast is co amazing. The bartender ignores you; I’m not sure why. And the hostess in charge of breakfast should do a little more to remember faces when you come to breakfast. Walking away for a moment shouldn’t require you to check in again"
