"This motel is more than we expected. We were just looking for a convenient place to stay outside of Anchorage. I would choose this motel again anytime. We were able to park outside room and conveniently organize the stuff. They have automatic keypad doors which made check in very safe and easy. The room was well appointed with extras like soaps and coffee. The beds were comfortable and clean. I will make this one a must stay if you are looking for something right outside of Anchorage."

"Cozy cabin in a private setting which was comfortable and rustic. Wifi was limited but it was otherwise perfectly suitable for a cabin in the woods. Out of the many accommodations we had in Alaska this was one of the more memorable at a reasonable price. "

"Very comfortable stay in a scenic location. Trail lake right behind the lodge with scenic snow clad mountains. Clean property, Scott is a very friendly host. The lodge has a restaurant which serves amazing hot chocolate. We found decent veg options (delicious veg curry and sandwhiches). The place might look a lottle old but has good soul. The room had cute alaska paintings. Even the curtains, lamp, vedsheets all had alaskan beuty captured( forest, moose, mountains etc). Must stay"
