"Rooms are rustic and quaint, but not quiet. Could hear conversations and all the sounds from next door as if they were above us. The surrounding area is beautiful. The food is good, but expensive. Staff was mostly kind- a few seemed ready for the tourist season to be over. Would try another Princess property. "

"The Brown Bear Saloon and Hotel was clean, comfortable, and cute. The staff were super friendly and we enjoyed chatting with other guests as we ate in the bar downstairs. Nice little park across the road from the hotel. This place is not fancy or luxurious, but it has everything you need for a safe and comfortable overnight stay."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Tecumseh Stall for our final overnight in our 2 week vacation. The space was extremely clean. We had dinner across the street from the cabin. The hosts were very helpful and everything was great. The only thing we did not have was the hot tub as it was being renovated. But we were so tired we likely wouldn't have gotten to it anyway. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for a place in the Girdwood/Anchorage area. "
