"The location of Mercure City hotel is perfect, with easy access to train station (very short walk), buses and walking distance to Nijmegen center. I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights as I had training at Radboudumc. The hotel is clean, safe and has good food options for breakfast and dinner (during weekdays). I would definitely stay again at Mercure City Nijmegen Centre Hotel. "

"The hotel was very clean in all the communal areas and bedrooms. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times. The breakfast also offered a good range of food and was very tasty!"

"Great location, reasonable price and right above a cool bar/town square area, but there were very limited facilities provided in the room. No soap, glasses or hairdryer etc, so make sure to bring your own! My main issue with the room (12) however was that there was a large gap in the ceiling that opened up to an attic area with velux windows built in. Initially this seemed like a cool design feature, until we were woken up at the crack of dawn by the sunlight beaming on to the bed. In my opinion, an addition of a complimentary eye mask and ear plugs would be very beneficial in the room!"

"The room and bathroom are very spacious, but it's time to renovate the rooms and furnutures. TV has very limited channels. Poor room and bathroom amenities. Make sure you scan the var code to get all hotel information as soon as you check-in. I wake-up one morning and call for room service breakfast, but they didn't take my order, because I had to select my order on a piece of card and hang it outside the door before 2AM. On our last stayed, we were wake-up by loud bangs on the roof. When asking at reception, what is all that noise that is coming since 7am from the roof, they informed that they were busy with roof repair. There was notification in advance to inform of this maintenance activity. After staying at Van der Valk Eindhoven best, that was so nice, I had the same expectation for this hotel and it was a disappointment. It was loke comparing a 5 star with a 2-1/2 star. The are is quiet in a remote area, with nothing at walking disstance."

"I love almost everything about this hotel. It has a beautiful wellness centre, a great gym, a very good restaurant and a really comfortable, funky lobby. It’s in a wonderful location across from the train station and a short stroll to all the shops and restaurants. The staff are great…friendly, helpful and very professional. Daily room service was not great. Used drinking glasses were never removed, no tissues, bathroom counters not cleaned. Also, lack of storage is a problem. The rooms seem newly renovated but they did not add any shelving or room for toiletries. However, I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s close to perfect. I will stay there again when i visit family in Arnhem."
