"The hotel looked like it had recently been renovated. Everything was clean and tidy. I did not like the fact that the in room refrigerator did NOT have a freezer compartment to freeze our ice pack for the cooler we took into the mtns daily. The breakfast was great very similar to what we had last year in Houghton/Hancock MI. Great way to start the day. The front desk person we saw when we checked in was not as helpful as she could be. They should have a list of restaurants in the area that are available and what their hours are. We had this at the Country Inn & Suites and it was great. Here the person who checked us in said "google it". I don't live and die by google and did NOT have access to a computer or a smart phone. I am a senior and don't have those items by choice. They overbooked their hotel and some days we did not get towel changes without having to ask for them in the evening. Staffing issues need to be thought out better to prepare for bus tours groups that were constant during our 6 day stay. I liked the beds very comfortable mattress."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Alburgh VT. There is so much to do in Alburgh along with the neighboring islands. We didn’t get out Kayaking or biking as much as we wanted because of the weather but we got a lot of hiking in. Got up early for a couple amazing sunrises. Bird life around kept us entertained for hours. We would definitely come back"
