"The property had a beautiful country setting. It reminded me of an old farmhouse. The outside entertainment area was great. Unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy it due to the mosquitoes. The property owner supplied us with citronella candles but the bugs won! There isn’t any air conditioning including the bedrooms. It was quite war despite the ceiling fans and we couldn’t leave the windows open because of the bugs. It was a nice retreat after being in the busy city of Bologna."

"We couldn't have been happier with this booking. Sylvia was an amazing host who gave us wonderful tips on parking in Bologna and the house was more amazing than the pictures. The scenic views and peacefulness of the house are something that needs to be seen and experienced in person. We had the best time and were sad to leave. Definitely recommending this to anyone we know who may visit Bologna one day. Thank you, Sylvia and Giovanni."

"We were looking for a way to unwind after experiencing the cities of Rome and Florence - this place was perfect. We were able to go into Bologna and enjoy all that the city has to offer and then relax poolside in the afternoon when it was hot. Pamela and Gabriel were wonderful - they had lots of great recommendations and were very accommodating. Great experience all around. One tip: This property is not near many restaurants, so plan accordingly. Our kids loved making pasta and flatbread...

"A very relaxing holiday for everyone. Great swimming pool was lots of fun. The two houses worked very well for our family of ten. Plenty of bathroom space. The weekly market was brilliant. A few nice restaurants for a lovely night out. All in all wonderful."

"Stunning location, quiet area, lovely host and support team. Donata was very helpful. Monica and her entire family were terrific. We had an amazing time, from an immaculately kept pool, which we used daily, to pasta making lessons from Monica and her lovely family. Nothing was too much trouble. "A group of 7 of us stayed at Francis property for a week. The place was a fantastic hub for visiting vineyards, Florence, Pisa and all other touristy bits you may like to do. Sadly the weather was not on our side so we did not get to use the pool or garden as much as we would like, but there was plenty of other things to keep us busy. Franco was excellent with the check in and checkout process, being very flexible and accommodating. Thanks once again 👍"

Unfortunately weather was bad for mid May and no heating at all, so it was freezing Would recommend the villa as it will be amazing in the sun, but advice you take everything with you from hand soap, washing liquid, mops, trashing machine detergent as nothing available except 1 toilet role per bathroom. We still enjoyed the place and the wonderful cooking of the cook as she prepared for us an Italian feast that I requested...

"We were quite disappointed in this stay. It was quite loud late into the night and the “bungalows” didn’t keep out the noise. The rooms weren’t specifically clean but the biggest disappointment was the breakfast. The coffee machine wasn’t restocked-no coffee, the choices were vast but not restocked well.
