"We wanted a place close to NYC for my son's graduation at Carnegie Hall but not pay the expense of Manhattan. We were very pleasantly surprised when we entered the place. It's gorgeous and big with 3 nice sized bedrooms. Very clean. Everything worked. At the end of a dead end street. Near the Path so easy access to Manhattan. We were sad that we only were staying for one night. The owner also is very responsive and willing to work with me."

"Not bad for a good-priced guesthouse. Neighborhood's a bit sketchy but I was there for 2 days and had no trouble w/ my car parking or car itself. It survived 2 nights parked in Newark w/out incident. :)"

"Did not feel safe outside/parking. Drug induced people all around/ ladies of the night. I was scared my car would be stolen or broken into each night. The property had all these keys for you to use but they didn’t keep the doors locked. Anyone on the street could have entered the house at any given time. There were people hanging around on the street next to the cars doing drugs 24/7. I definitely wouldn’t stay there again. The water in the sink gets really hot but the shower water was cold."

"House Rules: Respect our towels and sheets? Need to be clear. Does this mean they are for the owner since this is a rental in their house; because I didn’t get to use any. I don’t know both were used by the same person or what. Leave a towel and wash cloth in the room instead. Thank you."

"The Host canceled our reservation two hours before check-in because they were supposedly making repairs in the apartment and they couldn't finish it on time, for this reason we lost the money for the lockers that we had bought for the parks, my children were heartbroken because the irresponsibility of this person and to this day I still have not received my money back. Very bad people's"

"Tuve una experiencia buena. Aunque el apartamento estaba limpio, se podían apreciar zonas que estaban mas sucias, como por detras del baño. Sin embargo, para el precio, considerando otros alojamientos por la zona, el apartamento estaba muy bien. Tienes un autobus a cinco min a pie desde el apartemento que tr lleva a manhattan en 30 min. así que la localización, considerando que estas en new jersey, también estuvo bien."

"The garden themed accommodations were clean and cheerful. There were common areas in the kitchen, living room and sunroom. The sunroom had plenty of space with seating for my family of six whilst overlooking the Hudson and New York skyline. This is where we spent most of our time together in the space. "Host was amazing with communication. She also went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. She helped with what train to take and a bunch of other random questions that she certainly didn’t have to be so helpful with. The cleanliness of the apartment was amazing (meaning absolutely impeccable) and how she found as much pink stuff as she did was pretty impressive (even the iron and clothes steamer were pink!) There is a bus that stops right around the corner (less than a minute...
