"A lovely restful stay. Our suite was beautiful, delicious breakfast in the mornings, very nice heated swimming pool and a ping-pong table. There's also a separate shared kitchenette and fridge/freezer for guests which is handy so you can prep a picnic or make a salad or pasta for dinner in the garden. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. We had a great time."

"This was a beautiful property, not far from the village, extremely classy and well appointed. Amazing head mistress and owner. If ever I am back I'd stay for a few more nights, can't say enough about this Phenomenal place"

"More like a motel than a hotel. No one present upon arrival. We found a workman at the back who phoned someone to open up. Surly and unhelpful, although there is a restaurant no food served Sunday evening or Monday morning."

"What an amazing treat! We wanted a place halfway between Paris and La Roche Posay, our destination and I found Chandon. Who knew what an amazing place this was. The Chateau Chandon is breathtaking and this hotel, adjacent and a short walk over, was fantastic! I highly recommend."
