"We had a great week at the property and the only downside is that the photos do not do the property justice! Located in a typical French village with all the usual amenities, it is a great base for exploring Chartres a few miles away, or hopping on the train from the local station a few minutes walk away, to Paris or Versailles both of which we did during the week. "Had a lovely stay in Cesar's Cottage in Balines. Property was clean and tidy.. Kids loved the pool all the space outdoors. Only a short drive to local shops. Cottage is located in a beautiful spot in the countryside. we fitted in day trips to Paris and Le Mans."

"This property had everything you need. It felt very homey and comfortable. The host is amazing and very responsive. We are sad we didn’t have the opportunity to stay longer. The beds were very comfy and the host was so sweet with warming gifts of Cidre and a milks bar and water. There are plenty of towels, linen, and blankets. Kitchen is equipped with all you need and the TV was a smart TV where we were able to watch Netflix and have TV in English. This house was great. "
