We are Americans so it may be different for different people, we like to sleep a little bit on the cool side and the AC does not get the upstairs where the bed is very cool at all. They did have a fan for upstairs and we ran it, and their is a window to open as well, we tried all combinations and it never got the comfortable temp for us on sleeping.
