"The hotel is far better than its 2 star rating. The rooms are of a good size.. cleaned daily with bedding changed every other day.. The hotel is in a nice lively area of Paris. There are plenty of bars serving all types of food and beverage until the early hours of the morning. It is located between 2 metro lines. Each only a couple of minutes walk away. So getting around Paris is easy. The breakfast is typical of Paris.. nothing special... cereal. Croissant. French stick with jam. Butter. Soft cheese triangle. Juice orange or apple. And coffee fresh from the pot. There is a lift in the hotel. Although a little small. 3 person. And it only goes to the 5th floor.. 6th is via an extra set of stairs. But no hardship really. The shower takes a few minutes to get hot water through.. but i was staying on the top floor. So maybe a long way from the boiler. All together a very nice comforable stay.. I would definately stay there again.. i have stayed in worse 4 star hotels.. Thankyou to the management for my stay. Nothing was too much if you just asked.. "

"This was our 2nd stay at this property. Sadly a whole host of "niggles" from the moment we arrived. Very warm welcome and support from staff throughout, but overall not the standard you should expect for this price point. We had to change rooms due to being given incorrect (accessible) room - we had paid for the one bedroom apartment and whilst technically this could be classed as such, it was not fit for purpose. Shower was set only at waist height, radiator broken in bathroom, poor layout of lighting. We were moved the next day. Unfortunately the shower in this room was also broken and required a call to reception to fix. Due to "works", the water was routinely off each morning! There was no notification of this so you could be halfway through ablutions to find the water simply stopped. No cleaning at all during our 5 night stay. This would be ok if cleaning equipment were provided in the flat! It's essential to have a dustpan and brush as minimum, given that it is set up as self catering! The whole flat (and corridors) needs a good deep clean - superficial cleaning seems to take place but the skirtings, floor and especially the balcony area needs thorough cleaning. We found cigarette ends and a champagne cork on our balcony, along with the general build up of grime. We also had to chase up batteries for the remote control and a spare light bulb. These things should be routinely checked. Staff were always responsive when we raised these issues but we shouldn't need to. "

"Wonderful property. Several supermarkets (either beautiful wine prices) and cafes/restaurants just a stones throw away. Lovely neighborhood of Montmartre with Sacré Coeur and Moulin Rouge in walkable distances. Train lines are really close too. The room comes with air conditioning for cold/heat, important around this time of year. Extremely clean. Staff was VERY nice and helpful. Airport shuttle was only 20 euros. Would recommend."

"I had a very nice time at Maison La Boheme. But, you need to be aware of a couple of things. Because this is an "aparthotel," it means there is no front desk, no interaction with a front office staff, and nowhere to go if you want to ask anything in person. There's a concierge, who is reachably by email. It's more of an apartment, rather than a hotel, and if you like that sort of thing, you'll love this place. I was on the top floor (of three floors), and there's no lift. 35 steps to get up to my room. Again, if you don't mind that, it's great. The rooms are superb. Even my little studio was unexpectedly spacious, and you can't really tell that from the web site photos. Really charming, really comfortable. You access the hotel about 20 feet down a secret little alleyway-street, enter a code on a keypad, and you're instantly isolated from the absolute chaos of Place Du Tertre. If you're going anywhere off the top of the hill, there are stairs. A LOT of them. Be ready for extensive stair climbing when you return to your room after a long day of Paris adventures. If the giant stairways are too much, take the funiculare, by Sacre Coeur. It is totally worth it. In conclusion, a wonderful place. You should definitely consider it, and it's different than a standard hotel stay, which can be a lot of fun."

"The main thing is that the people were so nice and helpful. The owner is a wonderful woman who always took the time to say hi. Breakfast is good in a nice solarium Great water pressure! And nice location. Montmartre is great, but also pretty easy to get into the centre of Paris. We did it by subway, but also by e-bike (to the Eiffel Tower). "
