"The room was a little small and could have had more outlets (obviously from being such an old building). However, the staff and amenities were definitely the star of this establishment. The staff were very friendly and helpful and wore adorable outfits. We arrived early and left late and were allowed to wait in the “living room” area upstairs and help ourselves to tea/snacks. The included continental breakfast was very nice and had quite a wide array of options and was accompanied by live music....

"Lovely property in a lovely location, 15min walk downhill to the main squares. Out of the way enough to be quiet, but close enough that only feet are required for transportation. Air conditioning works great as well!"

Could be slightly loud if on first floor as can hear outside streets however the room was very large with two TV, kitchen, all kitchenware and would definitely recommend!"

"We stayed in two locations in Lisbon. Alfama area and here. Loved the area! Felt like I was staying among locals and not crowds of tourists. The hotel is on a quiet street. Walkable to restaurants and a pharmacy. Felt safe walking back at night. Building is old but well maintained. Staff was lovely. Free Breakfast was good. Loved having a place to enjoy afternoon coffee in the breakfast/ patio area to relax and get our second wind. "

And the stairs are long , we were in the 3rd floor and it was like the 4th floor. Everything you see in the picture is exactly the same. Transportation very near . "

"Good clean property, nice owners. One advantage is that the owners are on property so there is no issue with late arrival. Would stay again if in the area. The only suggestion I'd have is to give better instructions on driving to the property, google takes you to a slightly off location. "
