"It was nice to stay in a hotel with a mix of timeless high end accommodations , and updated furnishings. It was very clean and beds were very comfortable. The bathroom is very spacious with a separate toilet space for added privacy. The steakhouse on site wasn’t open on the weeknight we stayed, but Delta’s Delights was another restaurant open there. They have a variety of choices. It’s an option if you are not wanting to get back out to get food. Restaurants in area are a bit of a drive. If coming from out of state, note gambling age is 21. Staff was nice and approachable. It wasn’t busy on week night, but staff says weekends are busy. The price was great for the room. "

"This place is not modern (it is a cabin, after all) but it was very well kept and clean, with nice linens and a well-stocked kitchen with a Keurig and various coffee/tea pods. It was perfectly adequate for our one-night stay, and the staff was very proactive about communicating details for our after-hours check in, even sending a map of the campground area with our cabin clearly identified. Enjoyed sitting out on the porch with coffee in the morning. Although you can’t see the lake from there - it’s on the other side of the highway - it is a semi-secluded, wooded area with a view of the RVs at the campground. Good value, especially if traveling with children (bunk beds in the kitchen/living area)."
