"Room had refrigerator and microwave. Bed was clean and comfortable. For the price range this is a good deal. The room in the 50 to 60 dollar price range is hard to beat. Most all california motels are more expensive. Recommend this for a budget minded solo traveler. Just be safe with the neighborhood. It is a bad neighborhood full of drugs and homelessness. "

"It seems like the idea of this place would cool but it was not. I get it, it’s an old hotel no big deal, but the room was nothing like what was advertised the rug smelled old, there’s was no art just the creepiest wallpaper I had ever seen covering major cracks on the wall. We didn’t even stay there my wife took one look at the room and went ballistic what a horrible experience and a waste of money."

"Situated in an area where one would expect to pay more, within walking distance to Chinatown and Union Square. A few, minor improvements are needed: poor heating, blinds don’t block enough sunlight, sleeper sofa is extremely small, and both the sofa and bed could be more comfortable. Biggest downfall are no hot water (tepid at best), loud outdoor traffic. On the plus side, management replies quickly and rooms are clean"

"First let me say, we had a great time at this property. This is a small house in the city. Great location. We could walk to restaurants and play pickleball at the playground next store. It had three good size bedrooms, with super comfy beds. Only one real bathroom and shower, as the second bathroom was tiny and only had a toilet. "Loved staying here. Great location. Close to Muni stops. Communication with host is excellent. The garden, just outside the back door, is gorgeous and very relaxing (was a bit cold during our stay so didn't get to use it much). Spacious and clean bathroom. Comfy queen bed. Nice library available (common area, so have to share it with other guests). Decent Wifi. Easy check in/out. Would definitely stay here again."
