Golf Trip Home Base

Large home in Montgomery

Large home for large groups. Location is good if attending an event at Maxwell AFB. Plenty of gathering area both in house and outside on back patio. If seeking groceries, avoid the Winn Dixie that is close by and travel a little further to the Publix for a greater selection.

Very spacious

This house was amazingly spacious! Well equipped with all of our needs. Nice size bedrooms in a quiet neighborhood.The host was awesome, great with communication. Had coffee and complimentary snacks. The cleanliness was a 10. The pool table was a plus! They also had other board games. Trip was enjoyable!

Make sure you check the Neighborhood

The interior of the home was very nice, although the smoke detectors were not in working order. The exterior of the property was horrible. Outside needs significant improvements. The neighborhood was very bad. Gun shot were heard several evening putting all of us on edge. Home is definitely in the “hood”. Everyone in our group was on edge most of the time. Would have been nice to see pictures of the outside of the property and neighborhood. The property is also on a corner lot, it would have been nice to get the cross street name since it took 15 minutes to find the property.

Great Spot for RTJ Trail Golf Trip

Location was ideal for our 4-day golf trip, playing 3 different RTJ sites. Nice neighborhood. Aaron was very responsive.

Perfect for golf group

I’d recommend to anyone traveling to area with a golf group. We had 8 guys and I worked perfectly. Close to nice selections of local restaurants within 5min drive

Family Visit

Stayed at the property with my elderly parents, 4 kids, nephew, parents nurse, and husband. The place was fantastic. Met the needs for everyone. Would definitely visit again when we come to Alabama.

Capitol Hill Golf Trip

Spacious and well-appointed kitchen. Clean and neat bedrooms and bathrooms. Lots of space for different groups to meet within the house.Check-in was the easiest experience I have ever had on VRBO.Poor neighborhood. Deserted and rundown houses next door and nearby. No local networks or ESPN available on TV. Completely undesirable for sports fans.Pool table is unsafe, could collapse at any time on someone's foot or crawling child.Garage availability would have been nice. Constantly having to move cars around in driveway.

Son's Military Graduation

We had 11 of us down for my son's officer graduation. The house was so big - it was perfect!! So many bedrooms and spaces to spread out when we needed. It was great!

Spacious lodging for groups

This property was great for a large group of coworkers coming to Montgomery for a conference. The property was clean, spacious, and met all of our needs. Large kitchen, 2 living rooms, wifi accommodated our group's needs well. The host was responsive to messages and was even able to accommodate us in extending our stay for one additional night when another Vrbo property fell through unexpectedly.

Great for a group

The spaciousness, cleanliness, comfortability, the cut grounds, the patio, the kitchen space, the location, the varied amenities and more, was perfect for our group. Everyone was impressed with the home and felt comfortable. We didn't want to leave but are planning another stay soon. It's hard for anything to be a crowd pleaser and we have stayed in many homes in multiple states, but this place was a unanimous 10.

Great rental for a large group!

We had a group of 16 adults come into town for golf. Very large place and was perfect for our group. Seemed newly remodeled and well kept. Our host was great. He always responded to quickly and provided snacks and coffee. It was about a 15 minute drive to Capitol Hill and about half that to downtown. Would definitely stay here again with a large group.

A heavenly place to be.

Everything about our stay was simply perfect. We were a large group of youth and adults, and we all had plenty of space. The house is beautiful, with a range of gorgeous appliances and entertainment options. There was a gorgeous yard too! Our host was so thoughtful to all our needs, and so welcoming. Oh, and there were SNACKS! Really, I can't say how wonderful the stay was. Thank you so much!

Guys golf trip.

From booking to checking in and finally heading out, it was perfect! Aaron was responding to every inquiry within minutes. I didn’t have many questions b/c everything was thoughtfully taken care of. My crew were all very happy and that’s a win in my book. Plenty of room to decompress and at the same time big enough places for us all to play games and catch up after the rounds.

RTJ Trail Golf Trip

The home accommodated our group of 8 men (66 to 85) reasonable well! Of no fault of the home or host, the bunk beds for adult aging men was difficult to conveniently use and with 4 men in the one upstairs end of the house with one bathroom in the area was challenging at times. The home was plenty large enough and had entertainment activities to accommodate. The pool table is off balance and needs balancing. The front door lock was easy to open with the code, but difficult to lock upon leaving with the deadbolt locking mechanism not lining up easily and therefore failing to lock. We had to exit the side garage door and look the door lock and enter via the front door. This may be by design. Nonetheless, our group would have preferred to deadbolt the side garage door and simply use the front door locking mechanism (key pad) to deadbolt the front door. One last thing of property upkeep. The lawn was overgrown and appeared to not have been mowed in several weeks (weather could have hindered such maintenance). Aaron is an exceptional host with timely and pertinent communications. The property allowed for easy transportation to the RTJ golf courses in the area, downtown dining, grocery stores and the East Chase area. This was probably a one and done trip for our group in that the RTJ Trail experience was on all of our bucket lists and Aaron's home allowed us to fulfill this within our budget. We are quite grateful for that and would not hesitate staying here again!

The 3 couples and 3 singles (all related) met for Reunion purposes. This is a wonderfully updated residence that provides plenty of space to relax and enjoy the company. The living room, game room and dining room offer plenty of seating capacity. We loved the ability to close two unique double-door sets to close off the game room from the living area so the noise was abated between the rooms. The kitchen is probably the biggest of any residence we stayed in on our various outings. There is plenty of silverware and cutlery, plates, cups and dishware. The gas stove was a delight for those who cooked. The only thing lacking was a garbage disposal. The refrigerator is large, but the ice maker wasn’t functional. The owner did provide a large bag of ice to start us off. The central a/c worked fine as well as the window units in the two upstairs bedrooms. However, the upstairs bathroom and hallway did get warm in late afternoon and evening. The bedrooms were spacious and 8 of the 9 people thought the beds were comfortable or very comfortable. (There’s always one oddball in a crowd 😊). We utilized the washer and dryer with no problem. The patio area is set up very nice, but due to the high temperature and high humidity we didn’t really utilize it as much as we would have liked. That leaves me with the only con concerning this property. Entry access for the mobility handicapped (wheelchair, walker, cane) is not user friendly. Once inside there are no issues on the first floor.
