Beautifully renovated retreat on the lake shore


Your family is sure to enjoy a memorable vacation in this fully furnished, 4 bedroom/ 4 bath house. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, two bedrooms are furnished with queen-sized beds, and a TV room (counted as the 4th bedroom) has five beds, (four bunk beds plus a trundle). This home is comfortable for sleeping 15 people (including four roll-away beds) The open layout living room is furnished with two sofas, and an over-sized chair. TV stereo system blue-tooths so you can play your music from your phone to the stereo in the house and out on the back porch. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots and pans, utensils, ice maker, coffee maker, blender, and all new appliances. Situated on the lakefront, the morning sunrise reflects off the lake and lights up the house. The afternoon brings shade to that side of the house, where you can enjoy the deck and watch the boats go by.

This house was everything we hoped it would be and more. The finishes of the house are high quality, the kitchen is fully stocked with much more than we needed for 11 people, and the lake access is great! We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed four nights including Christmas Day with myself and my parents and had a wonderful time. The house is fantastic and has the greatest view of the lake. It is by far the best home we have rented on Lake Conroe and is exactly as described on the VRBO site.

Perfect for families

We spent the week of New Year’s Day here, and it was perfect.! We spent the days fishing and doing puzzles, and the kids were so excited about the bunk room upstairs. The kitchen, and entire house, was very well stocked and organized. The beds were very comfortable, too! Walmart was conveniently down the street, and the neighborhood was quiet. The fireworks over the lake on New Year’s Eve was so memorable! Thanks for sharing your home.

Long weekend getaway!

Could not be more pleased with our stay at this home. Pictures dont capture how wonderful it is! Love the floor plan of the home! And the deck set up on the lake is awesome! Master bedroom and spacious bathroom was wonderful. Views of the lake no matter where you were in the house. And the owner is very accommodating and easy to communicate with! We would go back!

Best Place Ever!

We had a wedding at Old Dobbin and because of this many family members rented out homes in this area . By far, this home surpassed all 4 of the homes we seen in Walden Lake . It's clean and offered many amenities. Beautiful, Relaxing, it made our experience top notch! Thank you to the Youngs for all the hospitality. Let me also say , this home is State-of-the-art with lighting ,electronics , and all new appliances. Loved it & we will return again.

Great house an location

Overall great time and great house. If bringing a boat this is not ideal location to dock a boat. It is way to rough. The cleats on dock are super sharp and will cut rope.
