Beautifully updated 3,100 square foot, water-front home with unobstructed, open-water views of Lake Conroe inside and out. This up-scale home offers bright and spacious living and dining. With windows across the back, upstairs and down, it has expansive views of the lake from almost every room.

The Escape is located just inside the outer edge of a large cove in Walden you get the advantage of being in a no wake zone, which is great for for swimming and fishing, AND experiencing all the action on the open water! The back of the house faces east providing lovely sunrises in the morning and shade in the afternoon, a real plus in the summer heat. The yard is absolutely huge; very uncommon for lake property. Plenty of room for several outdoor activities at once!

You can jump right into the lake from the deck beside your private boat / fishing dock or take the stairway directly into the water. Bring your fishing poles, floats, kayak, canoe, wakeboard, or skis, and your boat! The dock has 2 covered boat lifts, (for a standard V-hull boat) and one of them is reserved for guests.

Feeling lazy? Soothe your tired muscles in the luxurious hot tub which can seat up to 7 people comfortably. Relax on one of 3 decks furnished with wrought iron furniture, couches, and lounge chairs.

The home provides every amenity imaginable for a family vacation getaway including a fully stocked kitchen with all the pots/pans, dishes, utensils, and cookie sheets, etc you’d ever need along with an outdoor gas grill and smoker.

Bring your laptops and IPads. There is high-speed Internet with Wifi access. Your electronic library can be bluetooth connected to the sound system on the deck.

There are three full baths and one half bath. Of the 4 bedrooms, 2 of them are master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms — great for multiple families. There are beds for 11 plus 2 futons and a baby bed.

Baby on board? No problem. We have a baby bed which stays permanently set up in the upstairs master bedroom as well as a high chair.

The downstairs master, with vaulted ceiling, king bed, and flat screen TV opens on to the main deck outside overlooking the lake. You’ll enjoy the his and her sinks with quartz countertops and bathing in either the tub or the custom walk in shower for two.

All rooms have ceiling fans. Upstairs, all rooms also have vaulted or cathedral ceilings.

From the upstairs master bedroom #2, you can walk through the french doors onto a private balcony with an inviting seating area and a panoramic view of the lake. There is a shower/tub combo and large walk in closet. This bedroom contains a king bed, TV, a recliner and baby bed.

The third bedroom has a queen bed. Situated on the corner of the house, it has 2 walls of windows facing east and south (you can see the lake our of both windows.!

The fourth bedroom has a Queen bed and a bunk bed with a trundle, too.. Situated at the front of the house, this is the only room that does not have lake views.

Bedroom 3 and 4 share a bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

There is also an upstairs game room / sitting room with windows which show off the amazing view. It includes 2 futons, widescreen TV for viewing DVDs, game table and chairs, a dart board, and a cabinet of games and DVD’s (no children’s DVD’s).

Downstairs, the utility room contains a washer, dryer, and oversized deep sink. The half bath is across from the utility room, off of the kitchen.

The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with quartz countertops, ice maker, a five burner cooktop stove and double oven, utensils, pots and pans and place settings. Keurig and regular drip coffee maker. There are two barstools at the counter, and the dining table seats 8 plus a high chair. Additionally there is a table for two nearby and tons of seating outside.

The two story main den includes a wet bar, wood-turning fireplace, another card table, flat screen TV, and lots of comfy seating. Floor to ceiling windows make it impossible to miss the view of the lake. French doors lead you outside to the large main deck.

A 1,000 square foot multi-level deck spans the whole width of the house. Enough for a dance floor! It is equipped a misting system that keeps the spiders away. The misting system comes on at 12 PM. Four different fans are available to keep you cool even when there is not a lake breeze.
The upper deck is the “outdoor living room”. It has a couch, coffee table, two gliders, and a table and chairs for two. It overlooks the hot tub below.

A few steps down, the main deck includes a smoker with infrared gas grill, and 2 wrought iron tables; one seats 8 and one seats 4. Plus additional chairs, snack tables, serving cart, benches, and 2 lounge chairs.

The lowest level deck is gated for safety and contains a 7 person hot tub with over 70 jets!
One of those spaces is a jetted massage bed.

The HUGE backyard is ready for fun and games.
Connected to the lighted double boat dock is another large deck for fishing and lounging. It has two tables and chairs and a stairway that takes you right down into the water. One of the boat slips is empty and ready for your boat! It is configured for a v-hull boat. However, you can pull a pontoon boat in but not use the lift. You can, however, tie it to the boat cleats.

We provide a card key that gives you access to the Walden Yacht Club pool, to the gym, tennis courts, and adult pool facility (heated in winter), and the free Walden boat launches with parking, and a children's playground.

Come for the fall and winter too. It’s a great time for fishing.

Early check-in: ONLY if prior agreement made with owner, AND depending upon
availability the day or two before your arrival.
If you desire access to the home prior to the scheduled 4 PM arrival, an additional
charge of $40(cash) per hour will need to be payed to owner before arrival.

Late check - out: ONLY if owner agrees, depending upon availability.
The rate for staying longer than the 11 AM scheduled departure is $40 per hour, but
no later than 5 PM.

Fees :
We charge a $190 per visit cleaning fee
You are responsible for any damages caused by your group!

The home is located in Walden, on Lake Conroe. Walden is both a resort community and a residential neighborhood, with beautiful homes, an award winning golf course, a marina, as well as a luxurious country club which boasts delicious food and dancing music.
- The Yacht Club has a huge Olympic sized pool, child pool and splash pad, with poolside food as well as beverage service. It also has a full restaurant with call-in/carry out service and a great Sunday brunch.
- The Golf Club has dinner and live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
- There are 2 private boat ramps in Walden with secure parking.
- Boat and jet ski rentals are available at Walden Marina
- A large playground is located between the Yacht Club and the marina.

Nearby:
Within a few miles is the Waterpoint Marina and Naughty-Dayz where you can rent a boat for a few hours or the week and dock it right in front of the house

Shopping:
Walmart and Walgreens are only a few miles up Walden road and Kroger on Hwy 105

Historic Montgomery Village, 5 minutes away, offers antique shopping, souvenirs, and a must-see Cowboy church with weekly rodeos.

Drive thirty minutes south to shop at The Woodlands Mall and upscale marketplace.

Dining:
Several popular local restaurants have docks out front to accommodate boaters who want to pull in for food and beverages.
