"Location good. It is rustic. The patina on floor tiles and stairs is wonderful to see. It is very charming with traditional shutters and feels like a special place that has seen a cosmopolitan life and celebrations and been central to it. Bring a camera there are so many inspiring textures and plants that meander. It took me a moment then I got it. I loved it. If I was getting married I would definitely hire the whole place for a wedding. If not hire a room and enjoy a g&t underneath a fan in the courtyard and relax"

"Our 2nd year at this beautiful hotel. Stayed for 10 nights. Spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfasts. Quiet. Absolutely stunning views from the terrace across the mountains especially at night for the sunset. Delicious evening meals and some evenings have entertainment. My only negative comment is the red sensor light above the bed which flashes when you move. We did not have this problem last year but were told all the rooms have this. Maybe the sensor was on the other side of the room last year. Caused disturbed nights. Otherwise perfect. You do need a car if you choose to stay here."
