"Domaine de Lanis is lovely - thoughfully renovated to a very high standard (even the teacups are color-coordinated! see photo), big airy rooms with sitting area, quiet, comfortable, nice pool, and garden to explore. Loved my stay here. Had Table D'Hote one night, it was excellent and lovely to talk to the hosts who were very friendly and helpful. Very happy to recommend and would love to return."

Le lieu est propre et il y a toute les commodités pour se restaurer sur place (micro-onde, frigo, bouilloire...). Et ne parlons pas de la literie qui était géante et très très confortable."

"Sarah est une hôte attentive. La chambre ( sous les toits) est tres grande et joliment aménagée. Elle est adaptee vraiment que pour dormir ( car elle ne dispose que de 2 toutes petites fenêtres en s accroupissant pour voir dehors) Il vaut mieux prevoir des boules Quies car le chauffage est une clim reversible et donc bruyant ( dommage que le seche serviette ne fonctionne pas) Le petit dejeuner est varié et avec des produits de qualité L environnement est bucolique "

"What an amazing stay. Christope and Patrick were so warm and kind. Hugo the dog is absolutely beautiful and also a wonderful host - The best boi ever. They have renovated the château beautifully. Everything is perfection - they have wonderful taste. They have thought of so many little touches to make your stay absolutely wonderful. The food there is top notch, and great drinks list that is well priced. I can not wait to go back. Do yourself a favour and book it. "

"Très bon accueil mais mauvais entretien du matériel, on ne voyait rien a travers les vitres de la tente , il y avait des cadavres d'insectes partout, de grosses aureoles sur le canapé et des poils dans le lit , nous avions réservés deux jours mais avons dû partir au bout de 4h car notre fils a fait une crise d'asthme dû a la poussière. Si vous n'aimez pas les insectes n'y allez pas c'est infesté de punaises , la tente n'étant pas hermétique tous les insectes rentrent (limaces, araignées, pince...

"Beautiful homely hotel. Bedroom very quiet and clean. Tranquil and pretty surroundings with good places to walk. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Continental breakfast was nice and not rushed (which was great when we overslept). Good sized pool for swimming and decent sun loungers for relaxing. Great facilities to make your own dinner if you decide to stay in - Castres is circa 10-15 minute drive - with a small boutique to stock up on essentials like like wine and home produced honey! Option...

"We stayed here for four nights to explore Carcassonne and environment. Montolieu is a charming artsy village with lovely bookshops and little streets. The place we rented was the first floor of the house with the owners living downstairs. They were extremely friendly people and really going the extra mile to make your stay most comfortable. The amenities in and outside of the house are plentiful: bowling alley, pool ( not heated though), outside kitchen .... certainly recommend this place to...

"We were delighted with our upgrade to a suite - from a regular room - what a night and day difference. We were, however, quite disappointed with the repair of the chateau in general. It felt tired, the garden was lovely but didn't have a well kept feel. The pool was average, but the hot tub was not in use, covered up with some old cushions. The staff were amazing - Noelle and her husband took very good care of us."
