Nice location, me met hosts at their address and followed them to the rental by car. You will need google translate to communicate as they are very friendly but speak NO English. Hated the kettle, very complicated to operate,ended up heating a cup of water in microwave. Washing machine was handy when i found the washing line behind the house. i would go...

Un peu à l'écart du château, c'est une place très romantique avec de belles perspectives sur l'étang et les pelouses arborées. Comme il se situe dans l'enceinte du parc, c'est très calme et, de plus, la maison est grande et bien aménagée. L'équipe est très serviable et vous donne le sentiment d'être invité. "This house is BIG - plenty of space in and out for the children to run about. The owners live next door - but leave you alone completely unless you need something. They were great at fixing any issues - they replaced a broken dishwasher within an hour! The house has absolutely every thing you need, and the gas BBQ was a great from a regular charcoal one. I cannot recommend this house highly enough - and be sure too check out the many local walking trails too."

"Montcuq is such a pretty place and this is a lovely house to stay in. The house is just a few minutes walk to a fantastic boulangerie and you can wander to restaurants and cafes and watch the world go by, all without having to drive. The house is spacious and nicely decorated, with everything you can think of for a great stay. It has a massive garden and outbuildings, so perfedt for a family. We will return, but with the whole family, as there's so many areas to relax in. A real find."
