"Perched on the hill above Santa Teresa, the Emerald Abode became our home away from home. Just off the main road, the leg-in driveway to the home is just steps from the beach access pathway. The infinity pool is so nice we found it difficult to choose to leave for the hustle and bustle of town. If you can drag yourself away from the Emerald Abode, try Shambala on the beach. They have excellent food and superb cocktails (try the Mezcal Tere). Finally, get to know April. She’s a sweetheart. "

"What a beautiful property! Incredible ocean-views, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool, wildlife (monkeys, iguana, birds), and the jungle and ocean sounds. "Staff here was absolutely wonderful. Thank you all for your help with our luggage. lots of stairs in this place. The Infinity pool was beautiful. At the pool bar they make incredible caiperaina. The restaurant was delicious. And the staff there was incredible as well. We had two different rooms here because of the stair situation. And both of them were so beautiful. The road coming up here is very rocky with lots of potholes so a four-wheel drive would be best. Parking is at a minimal for their guests. Had some issues with that for sure. We go in and out a lot. "
