"We sincerely advice not to book this location. From the pictures it looked very nice, also first contact to landlord was acceptable. But then the issues started. Due to lack of hygiene in the house there have been big black insects everywhere: in our beds, in the clothes, on the floor - everywhere - as of day 1. on day 2, due to burst pipe, the wäre was everywhere. We had to move out immediately. The landlord was totally rude, not supportive and currently still refuses to compensate us...

We used it as a base for Imola F1 race. If races are re-established at Imola we will definitely come back. Highly recommend and we would love to visit again."

If you are a large family notice that 3-4 people have to sleep in a common room close making it potential a bit challenging if you are not close family. Gets out best recommendations overall!"

"We had a magical stay at the villa!! The villa was magnificent! A great combination of old world charm and modern conveniences. Beautifully landscaped and well-maintained grounds. We were able to enjoy a quiet cup of coffee on the deck, hop a train to Florence to see the sights and return to spend the afternoon lounging at the pool. The best memories were the outdoor dinners. "We chose this villa due to the facilities for disabled travellers and it worked well for someone in a wheelchair. The ground floor is level with a roll in shower. The property is spacious with plenty of room to manoeuvre equipment. I struggled pushing the wheelchair over the gravel to take my husband to the pool - a flat path to the pool would be useful. The area is beautiful and the views from the pool are lovely."

But all was put behind because the place was so peaceful . Not an easy access but worth the effort of getting there, breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Highly recommended.
