"This is a charming and fun little apartment with a great location, at the edge of Palmela but still within easy walking distance of restaurants and cafes. The kitchen and sitting areas are small, but we didn't mind since the bed was large and comfortable. Unfortunately, it has one major flaw. It is located adjacent to a rowdy bar which, on Saturday night, kept us awake until past 2 AM. "The apartment needs a coat of paint where the paint has been rubbed off on some doors and the walls in places. The bottom of the shower unit leaked causing water to go on the bathroom floor. The space around the bed in the main bedroom is rather tight and the wood frame expands into the limited space. We could have lived with these small problems but the noise from the flat above was awful and went on late into the night so we were unable to sleep. It sounded like furniture being dragged...
