"Paolo is a very nice host and the house is very pretty. The mountain view is awesome and you can easily walk through the forest to the Restaurante " Il Picco". Very good food and reasonable prices. Great location!!"

"Well equipped, pleasant and well located (near town, far enough to be quiet). Parking is behind secure gates (but its Barga, so you can leave your keys in), shielded from the house by trees. A stone path takes yup to the entrance, next to a covered dinning area. Neither are far from the loverly pool (great to cool off in, not so good if your planning on swimming lengths). "We had a great holiday.The house is beautiful and very comfortable.We enjoyed very much the privacy of the swimming pool.The area in the mountains and small villages are beautiful. The owner is very friendly and helped us also with the luggage as our car does not fit in de small street. We had a wonderful time!"

"Das Haus von Patrizia ist sehr schön und eignet sich gut für einen ruhigen Sommerurlaub in der Toskana als Familie oder als kleine Gruppe. Sowohl das Haus als auch der weitläufige Garten bieten viel Platz. Der Pool ist insbesondere für Schwimmanfänger optimal geeignet. Außer den direkten Nachbarn mit ihren beiden Hunden, die auf der anderen Seite des Hauses mit separatem Grundstück leben, ist man ungestört. Patrizia ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin, die stets um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht ist."

"Relaxing, peaceful, remote location, which can be easily accessed from Pisa / Florence by car. Fantastic views across the valley. Hosts were great at communicating, before and during the stay. Would recommend for an older family that wants to get away from it all. "

"Host welcomed us to his family’s home with homemade honey, soap & lavender sachet! He also arranged a delightful balsamic vinegar tour! Fresh mountain air and view were wonderful! This was definitely an escape from the touristy cities. Everyone was so friendly! We also took longer day trips to Parma via car and Venice via train but loved coming back to this quiet villa. The 2 separate spaces worked well for our family and the pool, lounge chairs & hammock/swing were so relaxing!"

"We were awe stricken upon arrival. This home was even better in person. There was one morning when there were low clouds in the valley and we ate on the patio seemingly above the clouds. The views were spectacular. The drive to the home is typical, switchbacks, tight curves and elevation gain. The nights at the main house were cool and comfortable. The pool was always refreshing after our daily adventures. There is a bathroom by the pool for convenience too. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table too! Just a great stay, everything we hoped for. "
