"We stayed for a week at this fabulous property in June/July 2025. The booking process was easy and communication thereafter was excellent. The house is in a very rural setting just outside Celleno. Celleno offers a couple of small supermarkets/grocers, two or 3 bars, a fantastic butchers and two or three restaurants/pizzerias. One of these is only open over weekends. You would need to drive into Celleno. There are more restaurants slightly further afield and Viterbo is no more than a 20 minute drive. The house and location are both beautiful and the location is very peaceful. There was good internet and good air conditioning in both bedrooms. The pool is lovely and very well maintained. Somebody pops in every other day early to clean the pool - you are otherwise left in peace. The house is like a family home and I have seldom stayed somewhere so well equipped. There were lots of staples in the kitchen cupboards which you replenish as used. The house is south facing but there is always some spot where you can get some dappled shade outdoors including under the vine covered pergola on the terrace. We had a fantastic stay and I would definitely consider returning to this lovely property. "

"Beautiful place and confortable. The check in process was definitely a disappointing experience to me and I lost 1 night since I tried to communicate in every way possible with the hotel with ZERO success. I tried the number Expedia shared, I tried the number THEY share, Whatsapp, email… I asked if I could arrive at 9-10pm since they say check in ends at 5pm, at 8pm… I had some car rental hiccups and could get earlier. No one replied. The reception is usually alone, and at check out they were charging me 1 night like I had no booking! I got a message from Luigi more than 24hrs after one of my messages saying they waited for me til midnight! But then they were charging me like a walk in guest. Anyway… not what I was expecting. Try their wines! Il marrugio rocks in that."

"This is an INCREDIBLE property! Beautiful landscaping, 10 min. drive from Bagno Regio. The breakfast they served was over the top delicious with home made treats, fresh ricotta cheese, and a wide variety of choices. They make a caffe/espresso for you. Couldn't recommend this place any higher, extraordinary property and service!"

"We spent a week with friends and family at I Gigli del Belvedere and it was magical in every way. The owners, Antonio and Sabrina, were the most accommodating and hospitable owners we have ever worked with from organizing events, quickly answering our every question and sharing tips and advice about the area. They made us feel like family and we became fast friends. The property manager, Gianluca, is a gem and was present the day we arrived to walk us through the villa and came by a couple of times to fix a couple of minor issues. A lifelong resident of Montefiascone he, along with owners, has great recommendations for restaurants and cafes. We had three meals coordinated by Antonio and Sabrina and they were all excellent. The team. led by Tonino, that cooks for the villa is a very special group of individuals preparing local dishes with only fresh and available ingredients. We were impressed by the fact that they offer these services as a nonprofit and donate their net profit to relief efforts in Italy and across Europe. The villa itself is spectacular. Pictures don’t capture the beauty of the lake, the valley views and the exterior and interior of the villa. We had all four apartments. All of which are large, spotless and are fully equipped. We can’t wait to return! "
