"We stayed at the The Loft because of its location to the Monte Vista Wildlife Preserve and the historic building it is located in. We also went to South Fork to cross country ski at their local groomed trails. A stop in Del Norte for some Elk meat. All in all we had a great visit, did some hiking around La Garita. Will definitely return for more adventures from the Loft!"

"The cabin was just as described. It was primitive, with serene surroundings. Pretty views all around and wild horses came to visit. There was a travel trailer on the property with people coming and going all weekend. Owner said it was private and far from neighbors, but didn't mention the travel trailer they also rent out. We were very surprised. People were nice enough though. All in all we enjoyed our stay."
