"Pros: We were upgraded to a three bedroom apartment in the same block. The apartment is very spacious with an attractive terrace and fabulous view of Pico island. It is very tastefully furnished with antiques which have been lovingly restored. Dora was very kind and communication with her was excellent. She left us a lovely welcome hamper of local food. Highly recommended property.

"We really enjoyed our stay in Faial. The apartment is spacious, stocked and in a nice location. We had some people with mobility issues and the stairs were hard for them. Be aware there is no handrail. Enjoy the views, they are incredible."

"We were warmly welcomed by Miguel, the owner/manager of the place. We experienced a slight inconvenience with our room at arrival, but Miguel quickly offered us a solution, which was suitable and much appreciated. The view from the terrace was incredible! This is related to the town and not to the lodging, but for dining options, at the time of the year that we went (early June) there were not much choices. But overall, a good experience! :)"
