"In general terms the pousada is good. Our bedroom was in a 3rd floor and no elevator so the luggage was a thing. The bedroom was a bit outdated, no place to put luggage and open them more than over the bed. "Terrible experience from the start: for a full week before arriving, I messaged their WhatsApp, Instagram, website, and even called to change my dates — no response, no help, and Expedia also failed to accommodate me, leaving me with no choice but to go. When I arrived, reception didn’t even greet me, the first room flooded immediately from sewage backing up in the shower, and the second room they gave me wasn’t clean, with mold on the curtains, shower walls, and throughout the space. Nothing was as advertised, I felt uncomfortable the entire time, and this was one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had."
