"The hotel staff were nice but very inexperienced. They have NOT been given good systems and instructions to work with. They lost our dinner reservation at the on site restaurant after confirming it the SAME day. The waiter at the restaurant was very rude and dismissive. VERY LAME considering its really not such a high end place. They should not pretend like they are a fancy restaurant in Paris (actually I've never had a problem like this in Paris). "We had a really nice stay with our very welcoming hosts. We especially enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood and sitting at the lovely terrasse with views of the sea and surroundings. Our dog was well recieved and he could walk free around in the garden. We would happily make a return visit."

"My first room had a horrible smell. I was told they have it when it is windy. Too bad there is always wind in Sete. I had to argue to change it to another room. I was given a lower category room so the no offer to compensation. In the new room the sink did not drain. There was no hot water in the morning for the shower. No excuse offered. Seemed business as usual. Never again."

"Probably one of the worst Ibos Budget hotels I’ve stayed in. Tiny room, barely enough space to get round the bed. Really takes ‘no frills’ to the extreme.
The positives: if you stay here you probably want access to the ferry - which is practically next door. Parking behind the hotel. The town centre is a bit further but walkable. There is a carrefour supermarket nearby to stock up on whatever you need.
Negatives: where to start. Tiny room as mentioned, pitiful breakfast, codes to remember for room, lift, and staircase -all different. No lunch/dinner onsite at the weekend - the food shed outside looks pretty basic.
