"This is a residential area. I didnt see any shops or places to eat nearby. However very close to train station. You need to check in with an emailed code. Room was fine and large. A very nice breakfast was included at the sister hotel a few doors down which was really good. Overall recommended but my big tip is dont expect nearby shops or places to eat. Is nice and quiet area. "

"Firstly this b&b is most certainly NOT in a rural location as described by Expedia and is definitely NOT multilingual. Just the one member of ‘staff’. The b&b is in the city centre and surrounded by buildings. The only parking is on street - if your lucky. The place does not have its own ‘free parking’ at all. "We had a great time staying in this lovely home. The room was delightful, clean, and our hosts were very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was terrific. With good weather, there is enough space outdoors to sit and eat or read. We were told that occasionally the Tour de France goes by this house, and it is relatively close to Lille and the football stadium. It is also close to the historic site Bouvines. This is a good place to stay outside of a large city. We highly recommend this house."
