"We are Canadians coming to the area for the Armistice observance in Ypres, and also to visit Mons, Ghent and Bruges. We found the location very convenient to visit these places. As well, the cottage was well-equipped and comfortable, with excellent parking. Additionally, the host was very quick to respond when we had questions, and met us punctually when we arrived. We couldn’t have asked for more."

"The property is very spacious and very much the traditional french/belgian country style. Rooms were big, great for a large family like ours. The private pool and hot tub were the star attractions, gorgeous and very clean and inviting. Sergio was easy to deal with and the process was very straightforward. We would definitely stay here again for a nice break, our week summer holiday here was wonderful."

"Very strange "kitchen" with a stove put on top of what was a bar and is extremely high. No extraction hood so its mpossible to cook. Bathroom without window or extraction fan. Constant noise right outside the door. The ad says the owner speaks French and English but they don't speak a word of English. We did not see the super well equipped place mentioned in other reviews. We do not recommend this place."

"This is a really sweet and charming cottage as you can see from the pictures on the website and it was our second visit here so you can tell we think it is lovely. Parking is possible on the driveway so that is very convenient. Ground floor accommodation is excellent with separate kitchen, dinning room, games room (although we did not understand this version of billiards), generous sitting room, shower room and separate toilet. The Garden is delightful and sheltered so we spent a lot of time on...

"We enjoyed our stay here. It was centrally located for all the areas that we planned to visit. The rental is small but was perfect for two people. It was clean and comfortable, the wifi worked great and we also happy there was a washing machine available (located in a separate building). The bedroom is in a loft area upstairs but the heating from downstairs kept the bedroom at a comfortable temperature. The host - Nathalie -is friendly and responds quickly to messages or is available by phone."

"Communication was good on the whole, albeit until check out, when the abruptness of reception person surfaced, he could not be bothered to allow us to leave luggage as he was about commence a break. Despite being 1153 am. How long does it take to open luggage store room opposite? Result 5 hours of suitcase lugging. Studio room was ok for 1..but couples might need bigger room."
