"An absolutely charming location and fantastic hosts. Lodge du Mayne is perfect for people looking for a peaceful getaway in a stunning location. Our hosts were incredibly helpful and kind but without being intrusive in any way. The accommodation is lovely, with all utensils, appliances etc provided. The pool was a fantastic addition and set in beautiful surrounds. Take advantage of the central location to visit the numerous villages and castles in the area and make sure you have at least one meal at the restaurant in Gavaudun (L’Essentiel). Would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful escape from it all."

"The property really did live up to the expectations of the photographs. A really lovely set up, and the owners Jo and Paul were wonderful and very helpful with local advise and recommendations. We particluarly loved the hot tub especially as it is covered so when it was raining it didnt matter! The pool was the only one i have ever been to that was properly heated to a perfect temperature. We highly recommend a stay here. "
