"It is a beautiful property. No hot water at first but corrected quickly. BBQ restaurant was outstanding. The main restaurant for dinner was totally disappointing with the food not cooked as requested and fish special tasteless with undercooked vegetables along with it."

"El hotel está bien en general. Bien situado. Cerca de la playa fluvial, cerca de Monsaraz(un pueblo precioso) y justo al lado de un pueblito donde hay unos restaurantes muy buenos(por ejemplo, GATO PRETO). La habitación fue lo peor y eso que reservamos una suite. El olor era insoportable. En el techo del baño había habitantes, no se si arañas u otro animal. "Rustic and quaint 200 year old manor outside the town walls. Short walking distance to the castle. The staff was friendly and my husband and I bonded with the charming cat Nina."

"A relaxed atmosphere with people who really care about your welfare."

"The hotel has good facilities, but our experience was terrible. The app used for assistance and access simply does not work properly. We had to wait about 40 minutes outside in the sun because the app would not allow us to enter the hotel. It was an extremely unpleasant and frustrating situation that completely spoiled our experience, despite the hotel’s good facilities."

"I stayed 3 nights, room was cleaned every day. Great quiet spot to base out of if you are traveling around Alentejo. The town is very cute and there are lots of beaches in each town around the alqueva. It is worth driving around for a day to see all the small villages. There are some great food options around town as well. I did not eat breakfast here but they do have a Continental breakfast area."

"Beautiful view and pool"
