"This hotel was my favorite hotel on my trip to Italy . The rooms are updated and charming . The staff is amazing . Angelo at the reception went out of his way to make sure we enjoy our stay . He loves food and sent us to really good restaurants in the area . We loved our stay there !"

"Lovely hotel with a beautiful decoration and many amenities. Located on a quiet street in the historic center. It has a lot of restaurants and cafes around the neighborhood. Room was clean with A/C and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent! The staff were amazing. Since the moment we arrived they gave us a warm welcome; they immediately offered us refreshments and then provided us with suggestions for activities inside and outside the hotel. They were always very kind and helpful and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Thank you Chiara."

"Shared bathroom and very minimal ( spartan) room. The elevator is from a 1930’s era and will barely accommodate one person and one piece of luggage. The location is fabulous across from the Palazzo Pitti and just down the via from the Punta Vecchio. Street restaurants are plentiful."

"Lungarno is beautifully situated along the Arno River right near the Ponte Vecchio, an amazing location for anyone visiting Florence for its attractions. The staff were incredibly kind and courteous. We were happy to have received an upgrade upon our arrival. The only issue was that our bedroom was right next to the elevator which meant we could hear it ding when we were trying to rest. Other than that, a perfect stay!"

If you are driving, it's great because it's inside the walls, but you can go with your car until the hotel parking lot without crossing the narrow streets - Beautiful view of the valleys from the Terrace - Nice and fresh breakfast."
