The atmosphere by the pool was equally inviting, with upbeat (but not overpowering) music that added a lively yet laid-back vibe to the afternoons. There was a small hiccup with my food order not arriving exactly as requested one evening, but it was quickly rectified, and the staff’s friendly attitude made it easy to brush off. The minor snag didn’t dampen my overall experience, especially since the rest of the meals were flavorful and satisfying. The resort’s peaceful environment and well-kept grounds made it easy to unwind, whether I was lounging on the beach, dipping into the pool, or strolling through the tropical gardens. It’s clear that the team prioritizes guest comfort and a serene atmosphere. "Staying at Miss Emily's Place is like staying at a friend's house. The owner, Annette, is charming and ever so helpful. In fact, she goes out of her way to make your stay in her city enjoyable. Her staff is very helpful too. The property is close to transport and a couple of local bars. My room was comfortable and clean and it had air conditioning. I really enjoyed my stay with Annette and Miss Emily's Place. In fact, a traveller I met weeks later had stayed there too. A great find. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Cape Hotel (for 11 nights on biz ). The terrace area with the sea views was very relaxing for breakfast and evenings. Most staff are very friendly and hard working especially the guys in the restaurant . The receptionists were very nice too especially Ted. Rooms were clean with hot water and Wi-Fi was reliable. Some of the Western guests were, in my opinion, pretty obnoxious but the staff dealt with those guests patiently and admirably . Many thanks to all the kind staff !"
