"We stayed the Alienor gite, just outside the lovely village of Lanquais near the Dordogne river. Our host Ann is really excellent host. The house is excellent - all the comforts of home, plenty of space, great welcome supplies, spotlessly cleane, nice and cool in the really hot recent weather and excellent value for money. The site up on the side of a wooded hill was really quiet and relaxing, had great views and lovely countryside or riverside walks. The large private garden and facilities...

"Bien 99% de néerlandais tout est adapté pour eux. 1 seul terrain de boules et pas de piscines plus calme cernée par les cris des enfants et bouées sinon joli camping bien pour les services. "

"We hebben twee geweldige weken doorgebracht in dit fijne en bijzondere huis. Bruno is erg aardig en was altijd bereid een vraag te beantwoorden of een tip te geven. De locatie is perfect als uitvalsbasis voor veel verschillende soorten uitstapjes. En als het erg warm was, was er een airco en een zwembad! De oprijlaan is steil, gelukkig is er iets verderop nog een minder steile opgang. "

So handy for the airport and places to explore although the property and pool are so fabulous, we didn’t explore as much as we thought we would.
